Cask Ale Crawl Toronto

This weekend beginning on Friday will be another great Toronto Cask Ale Crawl put on by Cask! Toronto. From Friday May 7th till Sunday the 9th, six pubs will be offering up a selection of casks available as long as they last.

Cask Ale, also known as Real Ale is the once popular classic beer of England. Cask Ale is beer that has been placed in a wooden or metal (usual metal) cask to ferment and age, and is served at the pub straight from that cask while still potentially partially fermenting. Precision timing and great effort to serve these casks at exactly the right time is an art among Real Ale Aficionados.

These beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized, and loaded with flavor. The pubs participating are:

Granite Brewery, 245 Eglinton Ave East
Volo, 587 Yonge St
The Rhino, 1249 Queen  St West
C’est What?, 67 Front St East
Mill St. Brewpub, 55 Mill St
Ceili Cottage, 1301 Queen  St East

To depending on where you are coming from, you should be able to find some delicious casks somewhere!
